Chontaduro Cake

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of Chontadooroh Powder

1 1/4 cups milk

2 eggs

1/2 cup wheat flour

Half tablespoon vanilla essence

1/2 cup dry red wine glass

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Half cup sugar (sweet) or

a tablespoon of salt (salted)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the ingredients in a bowl, incorporate the ground chontaduro (you must cook it for 1 hour in a pressure cooker), eggs, wheat flour, vanilla essence, wine, butter, baking powder and sugar or salt (depending on whether you want it salty or sweet) and mix them with a spoon.

Then, add the milk and mix very well, kneading with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough.

Preheat the oven to 180º C. Pour the mixture into a mold and bake it for 20 minutes or until inserting a knife, it comes out clean. And ready! Let it cool before you try

Chontaduro Flan

Ingredients (4 servings)

Chontaduro flour (50 grams)
Eggs (3)
Milk (400 ml)
Sugar (400 grams)
Water (1 tbsp)
Lemon (1 lemon juice)

Candy Preparation:
Put on low heat a tablespoon of water, four tablespoons of sugar and the juice of a lemon, cook until thick.
Preparation of the puree:
Mix two hundred grams of chontaduro flour and cold milk, then add the eggs and beat until well incorporated.
For preparation Use a pot with hot water, on the water place the mold in which the preparation will be made, cover the mold with the caramel and then add the mixture that we strain, once all the ingredients are incorporated, take to the oven for 1 hour. Let stand and refrigerate for twelve hours, then decorate with pieces of chontaduro and caramel.
